I'm a newbie both to this board and to cycles. I had a 125 Yamaha enduro 30 years ago. I just turned 50 and this is my present to myself. I went to a local dealer who carries Kawasaki, Honda and Suzuki and I fell for the Savage. The price was great cause it was a leftover from 99 and I liked the feel. Now here's my dilemma. The DEALER tried to talk me out of the Savage. Said it vibrated too much, backfired, lousey rear suspension etc. Then I find this website and find all of you who love the bike. He suggested a Shadow VLE of an 800ccKawaski Drifter.I still think the Savage is awesome but I'm curious about what you advise.
